The Seaglass Project

The Seaglass Project

The Seaglass project is about mixing the great feel of the finless alaia surfboard with modern materials.

As I surfed the alaia between 2005 and 2009, I could see that fins and pointy noses on a surfboard were unnecessary and even dangerous.
The alaia is only for elite surfers due to its difficulty so I started taking the design principles of the alaia and applying them to foam boards.
This became the Seaglass Project.

Working with Global Surf Industries, I have made two styles of boards.  First is the tuna, a light glassed board   Click here for more

The second is soft version called the Albacore.
